The CMPC choir is a music family who has fun together and works diligently throughout the year to bring quality music to the congregation. We have also had the opportunity to sing in other venues and have enjoyed all those opportunities for music outreach.
Daniel Plybon, our director, a native of Roanoke, received his Bachelors of Music Education from Radford University, and is also the band director at William Byrd High School. He teaches and directs our volunteer choir with enjoyment and knowledge and challenges the choir to grow through a variety of music. During the year the choir presents special music and cantatas to celebrate the different seasons of the church calendar and the programs that are unique to CMPC.
Of course all this would not be possible without our very talented accompanist, Karen Carter.
Each Wednesday night the Bell Choir meets at 6:00 and the choir at 7:00, and there is always an invitation to join our music family.
